England has celebrated Sir Reginald the Bold as its greatest knight for nearly a thousand years. There is just one problem: he was never trying to be a hero.

Blending medieval adventure with modern documentary interviews, The Last Knight follows the astonishing rise of an ordinary, practical man whose simple observations and accidental decisions are repeatedly mistaken for military genius. As historians, academics, and reenactments contradict one another, the legend of England's greatest hero begins to unravel, revealing that history may have been written by the people who misunderstood him best.

A playful blend of absurd British comedy, historical satire, and mockumentary storytelling, The Last Knight asks one important question:

What if history's greatest legend was simply the only reasonable person in the room?
