This dashboard is the place you come to when you are trying to decide, "What do I do next?" In general, you will spend most of your time in the "Awards" and "Nominees" sections on the left. Below these instructions are panels that contain your current progress against all judging tasks.
The "Awards" section lists all awards to which you have been assigned as a judge. Every award may have different rules for judging, so read the rules for each award carefully. No matter what the rules for a given award are, you will be tasked with watching each finalist in each award category. Watching runners-up is not required to select a winner (a runner-up is not eligible to win), but it may be necessary if you are making recommendations for further nominations.
The "Nominees" section is a list of all finalists and runners-up in all the categories you are judging. It is often easier to use this panel when judging multiple categories or when you simply have a large number of nominees to watch.
During the judging process, you may take secure notes and save them to the system. Your vote and ratings are shared with festival staff; your notes are NEVER shared with festival staff. In fact, your notes are encrypted in our database so that no prying eyes may ever see them.
